Coupled with our design, engineering and development Gears has in-house prototyping, machining services and sourcing capabilities. We are equipped with multiple 3D printers, 3 and 4-axis machinery and various tools to bring products to life. Gears has the ability to manufacture parts for pilot and first article production, we can even produce small batch quantities for small to medium runs. We also work with U.S. and international sourcing partners.
We can quickly turn ideas into functional prototypes and up to small batch production. With over 30 years of experience in CAD there is no challenge too small. We can convert a sketch ideas into 3D printed parts or machined in specified materials in a short lead time. Our CAD/CAM system is very efficient and allows us to move to proof of concept quickly, helping to reduce your timelines to market.
We also have direct access to specialty processes like water-jetting, laser-cutting, anodizing, specialty coatings, and small run prototype injection molding.
A part of Gears capabilites for in-house development and small run production, we also have a deep network of U.S. and international mannufacturers. We can manage medium to large production of components and able to direct assembly. From production of single componets to fully packaged products can be orchestrated and delivered to you.
Gears comes with decades of experience of creating and developing prototypes for demonstrating ideas and concepts to users. We craft hand finished models to and can move to multiple part small batch production runs quickly.
